The Powerprox Six Month Braces Techinque®

This procedure was invented by Dr. R.J. Depaul to help adults get a beautiful smile without having to subject their teeth getting elective root canal and 20 crowns or veneers.   Patients who have severe dental crowding or who have spaces in between their teeth can get a beautiful in a little as six months.   Powerprox Six Month Braces® is not a subsitute for comprehensive orthodontics, but is alternative for adults who want to straighten their smile in the quickest amount of time.

The Process

The Powerprox Six Month Braces® technique uses orthodontic brackets (tooth colored/clear, metal, and self-ligating) and special Nickel Titanium Wires to move the teeth with low controlled force.  In cases of crowding, sometimes space is made by slenderizing selected teeth with special instruments.  In other cases space is made by lateral expansion of the dental arch that occurs by having the teeth bonded to the Powerprox Braces.  In some cases special elastics and springs are used to move teeth around.  You will be amazed at how quickly your crooked smile starts to straighten out!

Does it hurt?

Most of our people state that the do not feel pain.  In fact, we treat a lot of people who had already had comprehensive orthodontics and they state there's no comparision.  The key to success of the Powerprox Six Month Braces Technique is the flexibilty and low forces of the archwire.
